Over the years, while working as a collaborative to improve housing conditions and quality of life for vulnerable populations, the HRC has been challenged with finding the time and the resources to concentrate on other important parts of our mission statement: implementing strategies to streamline services, maximize resources and technical expertise through synergistic relationships of committed community agencies.

This year was different. Faced with the opportunity to add to its membership, representatives from the HRC membership spent numerous hours in planning and discussions on how to intentionally build and sustain synergistic relationships. From these efforts, the HRC immerged with a stronger collaborative identity, and the means to more deliberately set goals and formalize policies.
